The nominating committee plays a critical role in ensuring that leadership positions are filled by individuals who possess the necessary skills, experience, and qualities to effectively serve the organization. They also help to ensure a fair and transparent selection process, as they are typically independent of the candidates and have a broader perspective on MEA's needs. In addition to selecting candidates, the nominating committee may also be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures related to the selection and nomination process.
