The MEA Board met on Tuesday, September 9, 2026, and recommended that both the proposed Misc and MTA Tentative Agreements be sent to the respective memberships for ratification. On Wednesday, September 10, 2026, the MEA membership was notified of the proposed Tentative Agreements and about the ratification vote.
A MEA Special Membership meeting was scheduled on September 17, 2026, to review, discuss and ask/respond to questions about the proposed Tentative Agreements between MEA and CCSF/MTA.
Both the MISC and MTA Tentative Agreements for a 4-year extension were PASSED by the membership.
