MEA NEGOTIATION UPDATE
CORRECTION
April 11, 2014
Correction:
In the most recent MEA Newsletter, the first section was devoted to explaining the City’s current proposal received on April 2nd. While the article accurately described the basic proposal as a 2% increase in each of the first two years of the MOU, it inaccurately characterized the impact on wages of staggering the increases as proposed. The chart below accurately reflects both the amount and the impact of the City’s current proposal. The same correction is noted in the original article which is repeated below. MEA regrets the unintentional miscalculation and looks forward to accurately describing the City’s next – and hopefully improved – proposal.
