As the Chief Procurement Officer for the Housing Authority of the City and County of San Francisco (SFHA), Solomon oversees the administration and management of the Procurement Department, which includes oversight of the solicitation process; contract negotiation, execution, and administration; maintaining equitable vendor relations; managing the purchase requisition and purchase order processes; and the development, implementation, and compliance oversight of SFHA and government regulations. Prior to joining the Authority in 2014, he served as the Director of Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics & Reprographics for the Hayward Unified School District and as Bond Program Contract Manager for the East Side Union High School District. Solomon has a BA degree in Economics/Anthropology.
