Teresa Scism brings over 10 years of experience with the City and County of San Francisco and has been a dedicated member of the Municipal Executives Association (MEA) since joining our workforce. Teresa currently serves as the Deputy Chief Security Officer at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA). She began her career at San Francisco International Airport in 2014, where she managed offices responsible for ensuring compliance with both federal regulations and airport-specific rules and regulations within the Safety and Security Services Division. Prior to joining the City, Teresa worked for United Airlines for 18+ years in various positions such as Customer Service, Cargo Service, Security Management, Facilities Management, Systems Operations, and Military Maintenance Contract Planning.
