The Department of Human Resources is accepting applications for the CCSF & MEA Leadership & Change Management Program(formerly known as Leadership 2.0). This program is open for Municipal Executives Association (MEA)-represented managers who have completed the 24 Plus Program (or comparable supervisory academy) and are interested in furthering their leadership development.
The program will take place over 6 weeks of learning, structured into 2 full-days and 4 half-day sessions between February 25 – April 1st, 2026. Key program elements include:
- Leadership Support Groups which offer interactive activities with peers; and
- Case study presentations by City leaders:
- Vision & Strategy: Michael Lambert, City Librarian
- Implementation with Equitable Outcomes: Katie Petrucione, Deputy City Administrator.
The brochure (Leadership-and-Change-Management-Brochure) details the program components, schedule, and requirements. An application form is available (Leadership-and-Change-Management-Application Form). Nominations may come through your department head, division director, or personnel officer, or your department may allow managers to self-nominate. Nomination forms will be accepted from January 5th – January 30th and will be reviewed in the order received. To ensure a diverse cohort, a maximum number of 1-3 spaces will be designated for participating departments, depending on department size.
This program is offered at no cost to departments. We ask departments to support their nominees’ full participation in the program by providing nominated leaders with protected time away from their work to attend all cohort events. We also ask that each nominee’s manager commit to meeting with the nominee throughout the program to discuss how to best leverage the program content.
