The City Career Center recently opened and operated by the Department of Human Resources and will:

  • Assist job seekers to apply for City employment;

  • Provide career development support to City employees interested in growing their careers.

The Department of Human Resources has launched the first ever City Career Center located in Room 110 at City Hall!

The Career Center will provide a wide range of resources to support City employees with their career development goals and jobseekers with their City job search.

Open Monday through Friday from 8am - 5pm, the Career Center will assist individuals with City career exploration and job applications, highlight training and educational resources, and provide career counseling to City employees interested in growing their careers.

The Career Center will offer free workshops on a variety of topics including resume writing, navigating the City’s hiring processes, exploring the SF Careers webpage, preparing for interviews and oral exams, and City department spotlights.

DHR staff will also welcome and onboard all new employees at City Hall where they will be fingerprinted and have their photo IDs taken at the Career Center.
