On January 9, 2025, the San Francisco Superior Court and MEA reached tentative agreement on the terms and conditions for a successor MOU 9/1/24 – 10/31/25. We are happy to report that the MEA and CRT FY24-25 Memorandum of Understanding has been ratified by both parties. There were 36 YES member votes in support of the Tentative Agreement. Thank you to those who voted. This round of negotiations stretched out nearly 6 months and became contentious when the CRT proposed a one-time lump sum for a one-year contract. Thank you to the bargaining team, Nicole Adams, Tony Gavero, Jennifer Ngo-Chan and Joseph Santos for all your hard work with achieving this successor MOU.
The following MOU provisions were changed, including but not limited to:
- Wages- one-time pensionable payment
- Flex Benefits
- Holiday/Floating Holiday
- Longevity Pay premium
- Bi-lingual Pay premium
- Acting Assignment pay
- Transfer of Leave
- Personnel File
