The MEA Board and Nominating Committee would like to inform you of the upcoming open December 2026 MEA Board of Directors’ Elections. If you are a current MEA member in good standing and interested in running for a Board position, contact staff@sfmea.com for a Director Candidacy application; the deadline for applications is the close of business Friday, May 29, 2026. The Nominating Committee will review all applications and contact the individuals about next steps in accordance with our Nominating Committee Procedures Nominating-Committee-Procedures-Final.pdf. Vetted applicants will have an opportunity to speak before the membership at the September 2026 Quarterly Membership Meeting. Thereafter, at the December 2026 Quarterly Membership Meeting, candidates can be elected individually or as a slate.
