The SFMEA Board comprises of elected and appointed board members who volunteer their time and represent the various contracts negotiated by SFMEA staff. The Board supports diversity, equity, and inclusion while representing all of our membership, providing strategic direction, oversight, and leadership to our SFMEA staff.

Individuals on the Board bring diverse expertise and backgrounds supporting our members' needs. The Board oversees Staff's initiatives, approves the MEA annual budget, sets board policies, and promotes professional growth. As volunteers, the Board supports the advancement of SFMEA’s mission, encouraging collaboration, ethics, and innovation within the City and County of San Francisco.
